Reinforced Brass Angle Valve

The standard reinforced brass angle valve developed by MING DA HAI CHEN particularly emphasizes the pressure rating of PN16, aiming to cope with the higher water pressure that may occur in household environments. We select solid brass for one-piece molding and combine it with multi-layer electroplating process, which enables it to provide more reliable pressure-bearing guarantee and leak-proof performance when connected to key positions such as water heaters and toilets than ordinary valves.

Product Description

Our standard reinforced brass angle valve with emphasis on pressure performance. The valve body adopts the upgraded solid brass one-piece construction, the overall thick forging, has the higher structural strength, can withstand the stronger pressure. The PN16 pressure rating means that the product is designed to withstand higher nominal pressures than conventional household Angle valves, providing a more stable interface support for equipment such as water heaters that may cause pressure fluctuations. The brass ceramic valve core suitable for hot and cold water is selected to ensure the tightness.Body surface is finished with a high quality three coat plating (brass base, anti-corrosion nickel coat, high chrome finish) for enhanced corrosion resistance. The product adopts a standard G1/2 interface and has strong installation adaptability. It is designed to provide a sturdy, durable, explosion-proof and leak-proof basic connection component for positions such as water heaters, kitchen sinks, bathroom basins and toilets in household waterways.

Product Feature

The core purpose of reinforced brass angle valve is its design and reinforcement centered around "higher pressure tolerance". Its most prominent feature is the clearly defined PN16 pressure rating.

To achieve this, a thickened solid brass one-piece body provides the physical foundation for material thickness and structural integrity, allowing for greater impact and burst resistance in the face of water hammer or system pressure fluctuations. The three-layer electroplating process not only provides long-lasting anti-corrosion and anti-rust protection, but also ensures that the valve can maintain its performance and appearance for a long time in harsh environments such as near high-humidity and high-temperature water heaters.  This product is particularly suitable for families with higher requirements for waterway safety, or for installation in critical locations where system pressure is relatively high and equipment starts and stops frequently (such as electric water heaters).

What is PN16?

When choosing Angle valves, "PN16" is a professional indicator worth paying attention to, as it directly affects the safety boundary of the product.

PN is the abbreviation of "Nominal Pressure", and the number following it represents the maximum working pressure that the valve can withstand at normal temperature (20°C) (in "bar"). PN16 indicates that its design can withstand a pressure of approximately 16 bar (about 1.6 megapascals). Although the static pressure of tap water in ordinary urban households is usually much lower than this value, in some cases, the instantaneous pressure may far exceed the normal level: for instance, when the water flow in the pipe is quickly shut off (such as when the automatic water inlet valve of a washing machine or dishwasher closes instantly), a "water hammer" shock wave is generated, causing the pressure inside the pipe to rise sharply in an instant. In addition, when the pressure in the pipeline network of ground-floor residents in high-rise buildings, families using booster pumps, or old residential areas is unstable, the system pressure may also be persistently or intermittently high.

Choosing an angle valve like our reinforced brass angle valve marked with PN16, compared with ordinary valves without clear identification or only meeting basic requirements, has a greater design safety level, more solid materials and structure, and is more composed when dealing with these pressure peaks, significantly reducing the risk of valve body deformation, cracking or interface leakage caused by excessive pressure. Therefore, choosing an Angle valve with a higher pressure rating adds an important safety guarantee to the household waterway system.
